A portion of your Deerfield AYSO dues pays for access to weekly professional training sessions. These sessions provide an additional opportunity for players to advance their soccer skills.
Players are encouraged to attend one training session per week, wearing their shin guards and with their soccer ball. They should also adhere to all other AYSO safety rules such as no jewelry and no pets. Finally, in respect to the other players I ask that you show up on time and ensure that your kids attend the sessions to learn and not create a disturbance. This isn't intended to be a free babysitting clinic and adherence to these rules ensures a positive learning experience for all.
Training will be held at Wilmot school (corner of Wilmot road and Deerfield Road). Each training session will be divided by age group.
A sign up for training sessions the following week is sent out to all registered players on Thursdays or Fridays. There is no need for players to coordinate attendance with their team as this is individual skills training. Players may sign up for one training each week to allow space for as many interested kids as possible. You may only sign up your own registered players; friends must sign themselves up for open time slots.
