Paid Trainers
Starting in fall we will be offering age appropriate training sessions with paid, Professional Soccer Trainers, for all players during the season. Check with your coach for details.
U-8 Game Goalkeeper Change
In keeping with the AYSO National Program for short sided games, starting this fall the U8 Division will NO LONGER use goalkeepers. It has been proven that not using goalkeepers at this early age is a much better way to keep players involved and have fun. "EXTRA" Program
Also starting last fall 2011, our region participated in the new AYSO Area 6D EXTRA Program for U10 boys and girls (U12 in Fall 2012).
EXTRA is designed to provide a more challenging level of play for those players who possess the appropriate interest, skills and abilities and to enhance each player's experience and individual growth through the game of soccer while retaining the spirit and organization of AYSO. The goal of EXTRA is to strengthen AYSO by retaining players and volunteers in additional programs operated under the AYSO philosophies. EXTRA is not designed to overshadow or harm the standard primary program. If your child is interested in playing and will be in the U10 or U12 Division this Fall 2012, please contact Tony Modro at ram60@comcast.net

We all know about the AYSO philosophy of "Everyone Plays". Unfortunately though, some kids have not participated for various reasons. The VIP Program now makes it possible for almost every kid with "special needs" who wants to play soccer, play soccer!
In an effort to stem poor side line behavior and enact proactive steps to ensure a positive experience for all players, coaches, referees, parents and spectators, AYSO has developed the Kids Zone Program. By providing parents with a pledge of good behavior and backing it up with visual reminders, we hope to assure only good at our games.
